Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress who is most well-known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first began to meet him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They were engaged in 2009, and were married with a civil ceremony the month of December in that same year. When she converted to Judaism, they renewed their wedding vows at the Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is famous for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by for the Gemini Awards. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk announced to the fans her good announcement that she became pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20th that she was ready to return to working. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! voted it the top couple on TV in 2013. Entertainment Television.
